Lee Stoll

Reporter

Lee Stoll co-anchors KOMO 4's Weekend Morning News and reports for KOMO 4 News during the week.

Lee is from Maryland but grew up around the world as the daughter of a Navy officer. Her family was stationed at the Bangor submarine base in the 1980s and vowed to come back. They got their wish and moved to Silverdale where Lee and her sister Paige graduated from Central Kitsap High School.

Lee moved to Chicago where she graduated from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. She earned a second major in art history.

She started her career as a production coordinator for FOX Sports Chicago, handling pre- and post-game shows for the White Sox, Blackhawks and Bulls. But she always cheered on the Mariners and Seahawks!

Lee started her on-air career as an anchor/reporter/producer for NBC in Kalispell, Montana where she won several SPJ awards and was runner-up for Montana Broadcaster of the Year.

Lee then moved to Spokane where she took a job as a reporter and fill-in anchor KREM TV (CBS).

She came home to Seattle to work as the North Sound reporter for KIRO TV covering large local events such as the Oso landslide and the Skagit River Bridge collapse.

Moving to KOMO is a homecoming because she was a college intern at the station in 1998.

After 17 moves, Lee and her family officially call Seattle home. She loves spending time skiing, sailing, playing cribbage or playing the cello.
